The Winnipeg Jets have selected Jack Roslovic with the 25th overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Well, that was a bit of a surprise.

The Jets take another American from the USHL in right winger Roslovic. He played 25 games for Team USA in the league and scored 11 goals and totaled 38 points. It certainly helped that he played with Matthew Tkachuk and Auston Matthews, two players that will be going very high in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He also was a member of Team USA at the World Under-18 Tournament.

He will be attending the University of Miami-Ohio next season so that is another Jets pick this year that will be taking the longer route to the NHL. Again, as mentioned in the Kyle Connor post, the Jets have that great luxury of being patient with their prospects.

They select 47th in the second, 78th in the third, 108th in the fourth and 168th in the sixth. They have two picks in the seventh round, the 198th and 203rd (from Washington).
