Jets Re-Sign Duehr to 2-Year Contract

The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed forward Walker Duehr to a two-year contract with an average annual value in the NHL of $875,000.

The 28-year-old finished fourth on the Manitoba Moose in points with 34 (17 goals, 17 assists) in 62 games this season and posted three points (one goal, two assists) in seven Calder Cup Playoff games. He also played a key role on the team’s penalty kill, finishing tied for first in the American Hockey League (AHL) with five shorthanded goals.

Duehr played three games for the Jets in March, logging zero points and a minus-1 rating. He was set to be an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

The undrafted Sioux Falls, South Dakota product has 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points in 95-career NHL games between the Jets, San Jose Sharks, and Calgary Flames, who signed him out of college in 2021. He has 59 goals and 53 assists for 112 points in 205-career AHL games between the Moose, San Jose Barracuda, Calgary Wranglers, and Stockton Heat.
