They’ll take on consecutive games 14 different times this season, joining the Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Florida Panthers, and Ottawa Senators for the second-most back-to-backs. The only team with more is the Pittsburgh Penguins, who have 15.

Notably, all but one back-to-back series will require travel for the team. Except for the April 3 and 4 series, the Capitals will be travelling between arenas in the limited hours they have between games.
