Game Recap

Perfetti put the Jets on the board at 7:46 of the first, after Nikolaj Ehlers pounced on an Ottawa turnover and threw the puck from the left boards to the right side of the net, where Perfetti tipped it in to give the Jets a 1-0 lead. Appleton scored his eighth goal of the season 77 seconds later, stretching the lead to 2-0. Nino Niederreiter backhanded a shot off a breakaway, Appleton stormed the net, and slid the rebound past Ullmark.

At 8:04 of the second period, Gabriel Viladi set up Connor with a nifty pass at the left side of the net, where Connor put it his 31st goal of the season.
