Joey Crabb Takes PTO With ‘Yotes

As training camps get jump started around the league, tryouts continue to get handed out. One of the latest is an invite to forward Joey Crabb from the Arizona Coyotes.

Crabb, a 7th round draft pick by the New York Rangers in 2002, has played the last couple of seasons in the AHL. Last season, he donned the sweater of the Hartford Wolf Pack, scoring 12 goals and 28 points through 66 games.

He last spent time in the NHL during the 2013-14 season, playing for the Florida Panthers, where he posted no goals and an assist through nine games.

All told, he’s a veteran of 179 NHL games, with 20 goals and 33 assists to his name, playing for the Atlanta Thrashers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Washington Capitals and the Panthers.
