Michael Ferland Has Sprained Knee, Is Week-to-Week

The Calgary Flames are down a forward with Michael Ferland being labeled week-to-week with a knee injury, according to Flames GM Brad Treliving.

Ferland is said to have a knee sprain that was sustained during Friday’s overtime win against the Detroit Red Wings.

The forward recorded a single assist, nine shots, and nine penalty minutes in seven games this season.

The team has started the season with a 2-5-0 record and is currently without Lance Bouma and T.J. Brodie as well.
