- The New York Rangers are looking at trying to acquire Jonathan Drouin from Tampa Bay.
“The Rangers are among a group of teams that have inquired about Tampa Bay’s disgruntled 20-year-old left wing Jonathan Drouin, multiple sources have told The Post, with one informant reporting the Blueshirts “are in big-time on this.”
- More Drouin: Coach John Cooper was surprised about the trade request.
“”All that stuff is kind of surprising, to be honest,” Cooper said.”
- Tom Gulitti openly wondered what it would take for New Jersey to acquire Ryan Johansen.
“I honestly don’t know, but i think it would take a lot for Columbus to trade Johansen within division.”
- Despite being losers of five straight and sitting in 29th place, I’m told the Buffalo Sabres aren’t looking to make a drastic move, yet.
“(Tim) Murray believes in the team as it’s assembled, but his patience may be starting to run out,” a source said.
