Jets’ Prospect Jacob Julien Signs Entry-Level Contract

Winnipeg Jets’ prospect Jacob Julien has signed a three-year entry-level contract.

Julien, 20, was selected in the fifth round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft at 146th overall. The left-shot centre, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 190 pounds, has 10 goals and 35 assists for 45 points in 58 games for the Ontario Hockey League’s (OHL) London Knights this season.

Julien, who is in his third season with his hometown team and serves as an alternate captain, set career highs last season with 29 goals and 78 points in 67 games and added eight goals and 16 points in 18 games as the Knights won the OHL championship.

Julien’s three-year deal carries an NHL average annual value of $925,000.
