The Winnipeg Jets are a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The franchise’s history is intertwined with the relocation of the Atlanta Thrashers to Winnipeg in 2011, reviving the name and hockey legacy of the original Jets that existed from 1972 to 1996.
