In November 2013, The Hockey Writers partnered with KSDK News Channel 5, St. Louis’ No. 1 news source, to bring its viewers additional St. Louis Blues coverage throughout the 2013-14 season. Mike Poepping and myself began sharing our THW content with KSDK.com and the results were extraordinary as KSDK became a go-to site for Blues fans.
The Blues’ record-breaking finish, accompanied with a positive response from website viewers, led to KSDK’s first web show featured on the sports page. The St. Louis Blues Face Off Show debuted just before Game 1 on April 17, providing the viewers with a glimpse into the best-of-seven series with the rival Chicago Blackhawks.
Episode 2 was recorded Friday, April 18, and focused on the drama from Game 1 while preparing fans with insight into Game 2. Here is the St. Louis Blues Face Off Show Episode 2, in its entirety.
