Juraj Slafkovsky (March 30, 2004) is a Slovakian ice hockey player currently playing for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 1st overall by the Canadiens in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.

Slafkovsky has spent three seasons under the TPS program, beginning in the 2019-20 season. He was a stand-out in the U-20 SM-sarja league in the 2021-22 season, amassing 18 points (6 goals, 12 assists), while also appearing in 21 games with TPS’ Liiga team. Slafkovsky was selected 90th overall in the 2021 CHL Import Draft by the Erie Otters.

Slafkovsky made his international debut in the 2021 IIHF World Championship, representing Slovakia to an 8th place finish. He was a part of the 2021 World Junior Championship roster that finished in 8th place, as well as the 2021 Hlinka Gretzky Cup Slovakian team, capturing a silver medal. The 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing marked his Olympic debut, while being one of the youngest players on the team at 17. He finished with Tournament MVP honors and seven goals in seven games tieing the U18 record set by Eddie Olczyk in 1984.
