LA Kings: Stanley Cup Swimsuit Edition

The Stanley Cup is always the prettiest girl in the room.

And when the prettiest girl hits the beach? All eyes on the glistening prize, as the Girl from Sheffield went walking through Redondo, Hermosa, and Manhattan Beach on Wednesday afternoon, the small and waxed and old and heavy star of the Los Angeles Kings’ South Bay victory parade.

The procession culminated at The Strand House, a beachside restaurant across from Manhattan Beach Pier. Jonathan Quick flung beers and (once again) f*** bombs at the crowd—whatever Quick’s place is among the best goalies in the world, he’s undoubtedly the best celebrator in the world:

Shortly thereafter, both Kings and fans dispersed. That is, until the entire team reconvened at The Strand House later in the evening, for a private celebration. But even then, the players couldn’t help but bring the Cup out to enjoy the sunset.

There aren’t many things that can vie for attention with the Cup, but sunset on Manhattan Beach, where a number of the Kings reside, is one of them, as you’ll see in this photo essay:
