The Nashville Predators joined the NHL in 1998 as an expansion franchise and didn’t reach the playoffs until their sixth season. Since then, they have consistently reached the postseason with 15 appearances in 25 seasons. They reached the Stanley Cup Final in 2017 but lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
