P.K. Subban Ruled Out for Saturday Night
Per Canadiens’ head coach Michel Therrien, Subban will not play on Saturday night when the Canadiens face the Minnesota Wild at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Tomorrow’s contest will mark the first time in Subban’s seven-year career that he has missed due to injury.
Therrien also stated that the Canadiens would likely recall a forward and defenseman from St. John’s, their AHL affiliate. There’s no indication yet who those individuals will be.
Montreal is currently tied for fifth place in the Atlantic Division with the Ottawa Senators, five points behind the fourth place Red Wings.
