Chicago Blackhawks Milestones for 2015-16

Duncan Keith – Chicago Runs on Duncan

Duncan Keith, like Toews has accomplished just about everything a young hockey player might dare to dream of. With 2 Olympic Medals, 3 Stanley Cups, 2 Norris Trophies, and a Conn Smythe, Keith is one of the most decorated defensemen in the game today. And yet, he shows no signs of slowing down, in spite of an early season injury this year.

Duncan Keith’s goals for this season might be on hold for now, but there are still a few that should be attainable for the veteran blue liner. Even with the injury, Keith should reach 800 games played. An assist record is also within reach. There are only 4 defensemen that have reached 350 assists with the Blackhawks, and Duncan Keith needs 8 to reach that Milestone this year. Considering he tallied 35 assists last season, Keith should have no problem reaching this milestone to join Doug Wilson, Pierre Pilote, Chris Chelios, and Bob Murray.

An injury has changed the narrative a bit, but by no means should it stop Duncan Keith from grabbing a few more accolades, before the season is over. Hockey Reference
