Chicago Blackhawks Milestones for 2015-16

Patrick Kane – One of the NHL’s Most Prolific and Controversial Characters

While no one can condone the off ice antics of Patrick Kane, it is nearly impossible to leave the dynamic winger off this list.

Kane should easily reach 600 Career Points with the Blackhawks, as he is just 36 points shy of the milestone today. He is also 30 goals away from tying Patrick Sharp on the Hawks All-Time Goals list. This one is certainly attainable if he can pick up where he left off prior to a late season shoulder injury, as he collected 27 goals in spite of missing his last 21 games. That pace would have likely challenged in the race for the scoring title, were it not for the injury.

Love him or hate him, Kane is an exceptional hockey player. Whether he will be a Hall of Fame Candidate is still very much up for debate, and his off ice behavior could very well keep him from attaining that goal, but there will be little doubt as to the impact he has made on the game of hockey.
