Travis Hamonic (/ˈhæmənɪk/ HAM-ə-nik; born August 16, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 53rd overall by the New York Islanders in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
