Montreal Canadiens star defenseman P.K. Subban is set to miss at least two more games with a neck injury, coach Michel Therrien announced Monday. They’ll be without his services against the Panthers on Tuesday and against the Sabres on Wednesday.
Subban left Thursday’s game on a stretcher after taking an awkward bump from teammate Alexei Emelin.
He was released from the hospital the following day, but was ruled out of Saturday’s game and will remain on the sidelines for a little while longer.
Saturday was the first time Subban missed a game due to injury during his 434-game career.
The Habs have a ridiculous number of injuries at the moment, and announced Monday that they’ll again be without Lars Eller, while Nathan Beaulieu remains questionable.
Canadiens currently on injured reserve, outside of those three, include Carey Price, Tom Gilbert, Jeff Petry, David Desharnais, Brian Flynn and David Carr.
