Travis Zajac (born May 13, 1985) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey centre who played for the New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders. The Devils selected Zajac 20th overall in 2004, and he had played his entire NHL career and served as an alternate captain with New Jersey until he was traded to the Islanders on April 7, 2021. He signed a one-day contract to retire as a Devil on Sept 20, 2021.
