Pavel Gogolev (born February 19, 2003) is a Russian ice hockey player, currently under contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. Despite being born in Russia, Gogolev has spent the majority of his career in North America, playing for the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for three seasons before his trade to the Guelph Storm in the 2018-19 season. After winning the OHL Championship in 2019, he returned for one more year with the Storm, posting his best offensive numbers with 45 goals and 96 points in 63 games.
Going undrafted at the NHL level, Gogolev signed with the Maple Leafs and started the 2020-21 season in Sweden, playing for Väsby IK of the HockeyAllsvenskan league. After recording two goals and one assist in 12 games, he returned to North America to dress for the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (AHL). Gogolev got off to a tremendous start with six goals and six assists in 13 games, but struggled to find his scoring touch the following season. He split the 2021-22 season between the Marlies and the Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL.
