In Winnipeg, the team made the playoffs 11 times in 17 NHL seasons but never made it past the division finals. Prior to the 1996-97 season, the team relocated to Arizona and became the Phoenix Coyotes, although they changed their location name from Phoenix to Arizona for the 2014-15 season.
