Lawrence Pilut (born December 30, 1995) is a Swedish ice hockey player, currently under contract with the Buffalo Sabres. Pilut went undrafted at the NHL level, but played his way into the NHL after winning the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) Championship in 2017 and following it up by winning SHL Defenseman of the Year in 2018. After spending seven years in Sweden — all with the HV71 program — he made his North American debut in the 2018-19 season, splitting the year between the American Hockey League (AHL) and the NHL.
