Rutger McGroarty (born March 30, 2004) is an American ice hockey player, recently playing for the USNTDP Juniors (USHL) and the U.S. National U18 Team (USDP). He was a member of the United States team to win a silver medal at the U18 World Junior Championship and was named a top-three player on his team. McGroarty was selected 14th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.

McGroarty developed his offensive game with the U.S. National Team over the last three seasons and recorded 69 points in 54 games last season. He was a pivotal member of the American squad that captured the silver medal, where he amassed nine points in six games. McGroarty is committed to the University of Michigan next season.
