Nathan Smith (born October 18, 1998) is an American ice hockey player from Tampa, Florida, currently playing for the Minnesota State University of the NCAA. Prior to being drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in 2018, Smith spent two seasons with the USHL’s Cedar Rapids RoughRiders before moving on to the NCAA, where he has spent the last three seasons as a member of Minnesota State.

Drafted in the 3rd-round, 91st overall in the 2018 NHL Draft, Smith is best known for his puck-handling ability and his craftiness with creating plays. He was selected to represent Team USA at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, marking his first appearance in international play.
