Sean Monahan (born October 12, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey center and alternate captain for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is a first-round selection of the Calgary Flames, sixth overall, at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and played junior hockey with the Ottawa 67’s of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) where he served as team captain.
