Anthony Richard (born December 20, 1996) is a Canadian ice hockey player, currently under contract with the Montreal Canadiens. Before making his way to the American Hockey League (AHL), he served as a member of the Val-d’Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) for three seasons. Capturing a QMJHL Championship in 2014, he also led the team in scoring the following season and finished top-two in his final year. Richard was selected 100th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Richard joined the Milwaukee Admirals following the Foreurs’ elimination in the 2016 QMJHL Playoffs. After splitting his first year between the AHL and ECHL, he became a contributing member to the Admirals for three seasons. He made his NHL debut in 2019, playing one game and finishing with a minus-1 rating. During the 2021-22 season, Richard was dealt to the Tampa Bay Lightning for forward Jimmy Huntington. He was not retained at the conclusion of the season and opted to sign with the Canadiens on a one-year contract. He is expected to start the 2022-23 season with the Laval Rocket.
