Status report

McCann, a forward, and Dunn, a defenseman, are both “very likely” to return from injuries, Kraken coach Lane Lambert said after an optional morning skate. McCann has missed seven games with a lower-body injury he sustained during a 3-2 win against the Los Angeles Kings on Dec. 10; Dunn has missed one game with an upper-body injury sustained in a 3-1 victory at the Anaheim Ducks on Dec. 22.
