When I woke up and saw the first dustings of snow on the ground, I thought today is the perfect day to entertain myself, and hopefully my loyal audience, with my 2nd edition of the 12 Days of Boston Bruins Christmas. But before I get to the Black & Gold, I am skating offsides for a minute to personally thank Theo Epstein and the Red Sox Owners for giving Red Sox Nation an early Christmas present. First Adrian Gonzalez from San Diego then Carl Crawford from Tampa! And since we know all good things come in 3’s…Cliff Lee turns down millions from the Yankees to return to the Phillies! Are you kidding me? The Hot Stove has been burning up New England!
Speaking of hot, what an amazing season Tim “The Tank” Thomas is having. He currently leads the league in save percentage (.954), goals against average (1.51) and shutouts (5). Good for him, but I’m still convinced that when he had offseason surgery, the Bionic Man donated his hip to Timmy. Do yourselves all a favor and make sure you check out the “Timmy” song on The Damon Amendolara (D.A.) Show weekdays from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. on 98.5 The Sports Hub. He plays the song before every Timmy start and after every Timmy win. TIMMY!!!

I would like to wish a warm farewell to Marco Sturm…I hope he is happy in LA and at least he will be surrounded by the best plastic surgeons in the country in case someone tries to mess up his Sturm face. Merry Christmas to all and remember, watching a hockey fight a day keeps the swine flu away!
