Miroslav Šatan (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈmiɾɔslaʊ̯ ˈʃatan]; born October 22, 1974) is a Slovak former professional ice hockey right winger who most recently played for Slovan Bratislava of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He spent the majority of his NHL career with the Buffalo Sabres, but also played for the Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders. He was drafted 111th overall by the Oilers in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.
