Zarley Bennett Zalapski (April 22, 1968 – December 10, 2017) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played from 1987 to 2010. He previously played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Hartford Whalers, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, and Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted fourth overall by the Penguins in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. He passed away in 2017 after complications due to a viral infection.
