The New York Rangers were founded in 1926, and are known as one of The Original Six Clubs. They have won four Stanley Cups, with the most recent coming in 1994, when they defeated the Vancouver Canucks in seven games in the Stanley Cup Final. They are one of three teams located in the New York metro area, along with the New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils.
