Tommy Mikael Salo (born Feb. 1, 1971) is a former Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender and former general manager of Leksands IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York IslandersEdmonton Oilers, and Colorado Avalanche and previously served as head coach of IK Oskarshamn.

On the international stage, Salo represented Sweden on many occasions, winning an Olympic Gold Medal in 1994 and a World Championship in 1998. Salo was an all-star netminder in the NHL and the International Hockey League (IHL), whose medals and records make him one of his country’s most decorated goalies.
