Derick Brassard (born September 22, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Brassard has previously played in the NHL for the Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins, Florida Panthers, Colorado Avalanche, New York Islanders, Arizona Coyotes and Philadelphia Flyers. He was selected in the first round, sixth overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Blue Jackets.
